CLAUDIA CASTRO

Owner/Vice President

As co-owner, senior creative director and project manager at BAI, Claudia has created impactful projects and experiences in the areas of exhibition and museum design, retail and commercial interior design, and graphic design through her unique design solutions and out-of-the-box thinking.

Claudia is also the founder of Citrico, Inc., which creates and produces a wide range of small and large-scale commercial, cultural and educational events, where she continues to use her creativity, leadership and organizational skills. Also a professional photographer, Claudia has an incredible eye for capturing the essence of storytelling, evoking an emotional response with her work.

Claudia has a Master’s Degree in Design Management from Pratt Institute, New York and a Graduate Certificate in Design Business Administration and Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the UPB in Colombia. She has been a guest lecturer for the graduate programs of Design Management, Industrial Design and Interior Design at Pratt Institute and for various international seminars for design and marketing programs in Colombia. Claudia has been an award-winner for several contests for the design and development of the urban street furniture system for the city of Medellín, Colombia (Sponsored by METRO & EEVV). Her designs are in widespread use by the city today.
